Help with the cost of Childcare

Starting School in September 2010
North Somerset have asked us to remind all parents who’s children start school next year that the deadline for applications is 4:30pm on 23rd October 2009. Parents can apply online at www.n-somerset.gov.uk/admissions. Alternatively an application form and guide can be obtained by contacting the School Admissions and Transport Team on 01275 888327.
If your child is starting school in September 2010 we would like to invite you to one of the following sessions.
Wednesday 11th November 2:15 – 3:15
Wednesday 11th November 6:30 – 7:30
We will be explaining the changes we have made to the organisation of pre school which will ensure that the children are fully covering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Activities will focus more on each child’s interests and on their individual needs.
Christmas Party
Our Christmas Party will be on Monday 21st December. More details next month.
Christmas closure
We will close at 1:30 on Christmas Eve and will re-open on Monday 4th January.
Parking
We have had complaints from our neighbours about inconsiderate parking. Please do not park on pavements and do not park on the grass of our neighbours gardens. I am sure you can appreciate how annoying this can be for them. If you have a baby you are leaving in the car or you are registered disabled you are welcome to use the drive. Please can you explain this to all people who may collect your child.
Naming clothes
Please remember to label all clothes and shoes to avoid confusion. Many of the children have the same clothes and shoes and they are easily mixed up.
