Labelling Clothes and Bags
Please make sure that all your child’s clothes and bags are clearly labelled. We have a large collection of unclaimed clothes in the porch. Please have a look through the box if you think you may have lost something.
Toys
If your child wants to bring a toy or comforter into nursery this is fine. However we would like them to only bring in one thing rather than an armful! We ask the children to keep their toys in their bags or on the shelf in the entrance hall when they are not playing with them. Occasionally a toy will go missing so please do not let them bring anything very precious.
Pegs
Please use the correct peg for your child – the pegs are arranged in colour groups so you need to use the peg colour corresponding to the group your child is in. If you are not sure which colour to use please ask.
Pre School
Pre school sessions will begin on 5
th September and are for all children who will be starting school in September 2012. The sessions give us the opportunity to give children more intensive support and focus on specific areas. We have planned meetings for parents of children in pre school for Thursday 6th October. At the meeting we will talk to you about some of the activities the children will be doing in pre school sessions and things you could do at home to support your child’s learning. We will hold one meeting at 2pm and another at 6:30pm. We hope that you will be able to come along to one of these. Please let Andrew, Emma or Denise know your preferred time.Nursery Education Funding

Children’s folders
Please take home your child’s folder whenever you wish. It is really helpful if you can add anything significant that your child has done to their learning diary. If you are not sure where you can write in the diary just ask your child’s keyworker and they will be happy to explain.
