Summer Outing – Animal Farm Adventure Park
We had a lovely day at the farm and it was great that so many of you were able to come along. Everyone seemed to have a good time and I hope you were able to meet some other parents and children from the nursery. If you would like any of the photos of you or your child please talk to Emma or Andrew and we can e-mail a copy to you.
Transfer documents and Folders
All children’s folders will be passed to their new schools before the end of the school term. Schools will give you the folders back along with their records at the end of the foundation stage and these will be a record of their achievements in nursery and reception.
Tesco Vouchers
We have been able to buy some lovely new resources with the Tesco vouchers you collected. We have a set of new percussion instruments, some great mirrored trays and some number bean bags. Thank you for all the vouchers.
Holiday Sessions
Please remember to put the money in an envelope on the day that you either book or come in for a holiday session. If your child is leaving during August and you owe any holiday sessions please leave the payment before you go. If you are on holiday during August don’t forget to put your holiday days up for sale in the holiday book.
Nursery Education Grant
All children who are 3 years old by 31
st August are entitled to up to 15 hours funded sessions from September. We will put a note on the notice board stating how much you are entitled to depending on the number of sessions your child attends each week. You will shortly receive a claim form for funded sessions.Session Changes
At this time of year we have quite a few children leaving us to start school and also many new children starting at the nursery. If anyone would like additional sessions now is a good time to grab them before we fill up! Please speak to Andrew.
Goodbye
We say goodbye to our preschool children this month. They will be missed but we know they will have a fantastic time in their new schools.
We also say goodbye to Lucy, who has been a keyworker in red group for over a year. She has a new job as a teacher at Bristol Steiner school and we wish her every success in her new role. Laura will be moving to red group in August and will be taking her key children with her.
