Reminder: we close at 12:30 on Friday 23rd December and re-open on Tuesday 3rd January

Nursery Education Funding If your child will be 3 before 31st December you will be entitled to the nursery education funding. Please talk to Andrew if you would like to change your sessions to get your full entitlement or just want to check the best way to arrange sessions.

Parents Evening Thank you for attending the parent’s evening. We all really enjoyed it and it was lovely to be able to spend more time talking with you about your children. We had some really positive feedback from you which was very encouraging and we will definitely hold the next parent’s evening in the same way. If you were unable to come along please remember that you can arrange to talk to your child’s keyworker whenever is convenient.

Pre School children In January the pre school children will begin to make their ‘All About Me’ books. Please could you send in photographs of your child as a baby; your home; mum, dad or carers; brothers and sisters; grandparents and a family photo. These will all be included in their books and will be sent home when the children leave. We are providing special envelopes to help you collect the photos.

The Christmas Party will be on Monday 19th December all children are welcome, it is very busy for us with 65 children so please read the information below to ensure all goes well.

PLEASE PARK WITH CONSIDERATION FOR OUR NEIGHBOURS.

2.30pm all children arrive, sorry this is the one occasion we do not let you in if you are early. Children will have party games and dancing followed by everyone sitting together in the conservatory for tea, followed by a visit from Father Christmas. The party is like a military operation so timing is crucial!!!

Blue Group to be collected at 4.10pm

Red Group to be collected at 4.25pm

Green Group to be collected at 4.35pm

When you drop off at 2:30 please take your child’s coat away with you. Please collect via the Kitchen door (by the dustbin). Each group will then go to see Father Christmas and you can accompany your child. We will do our very best to keep to time.

Bring your camera as Father Christmas is not camera shy!

Those children who normally do a full day on Monday will stay in the nursery as usual during lunchtime. Those children who only do a morning session must be collected and return at 2:30 for the party. I am afraid you will not be able to buy extra hours as we need to keep the numbers of children to a minimum during the setting up time.

Movember You may have noticed that Andrew’s & Matt’s moustaches have been growing throughout November. It would be great if you are able to sponsor them to raise money for prostate cancer. If you would like to make a donation please go to their Movember webpages or put some money in the collection box. Thanks.
